Science has never been more important to society at large or the school curriculum in particular. Rapid developments in technology, medicine and related fields are changing the world at an unprecedented rate.
That’s why we are running a special campaign to direct resources towards science facilities at all three Schools.
Devised to commemorate the life-changing discoveries of Old Millhillian, Francis Crick, our ‘Add Your DNA’ campaign at Mill Hill, Belmont and Grimsdell asks parents and other supporters to ‘own an element’ in his honour. Available at £100 each, the names of Mill Hill and Belmont donors will be displayed on honour boards around the Schools’ science facilities whilst those of Grimsdell supporters will feature on the leaves of the School’s ‘Giving Tree’.
Funds from the campaigns are being used to help fit out the science rooms in Belmont’s new Michael Proctor Building, refurbish the Chemistry Labs at Mill Hill, and upgrade the Science Garden and Forest Schools initiative at Grimsdell.
